As many of you know, I live in the wonderful state of New Jersey. As COVID-19 is making its way around the globe, millions are being asked to stay home. Yesterday our Governor put an executive order in place that requires us to stay at home unless we are carrying out an essential task. In my day job, I am a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor who works with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I love my job, however, working at this time is discouraged to protect the safety and health of my clients, my staff, and myself. So, what's a girl to do while she's home? I have been crocheting away. Here is a quick FREE crochet pattern that I truly adore and enjoy making. Click the link to download the pattern.
Make-up Scrubbies Pattern by Kylie Moleta
This pattern is available over on Ravelry as a free PDF download. There are two versions of this pattern: US and UK. This way you can crochet using the terminology you are familiar with. Pattern is written to make a large or small scrubby. I personally love them.
I usually use a cotton yarn (worsted weight) so that I can throw it in the washer machine. I usually use those to either wash my face or remove make-up. Or I purchase scrubby yarn from Hobby Lobby and use this pattern to make kitchen scrubbies. This is a favorite of mine. Quick and easy. They also make nice gifts.
Here are the ones I made.
